I'm actually not that into the LTR system personally, besides as a secondary, apparently unlimited traits panel I want to make another mod later providing more immersive alternative methods for unlocking the trait-based LTRs (example: give sims the Professional Slacker reward if they meet a bunch of criteria like clearing certain career/charisma/rebel influence level thresholds, instead of buying it with points) and making the object LTRs buyable-but-expensive or inventable-but-high-level, since I've seen other people's mods do things like that and know it must be possible. I guess it is technically a reward trait in one sense! But it's a regular trait from a coding perspective, yeah. Sims MX's explanation of social data tables helped a lot with the 3 social interactions I made, I absolutely would never have figured all that out on my own, and I think McNum and Arsil's conversation about dreamtrees here will be the key (heh heh localization) to cracking dreamtrees. Lyralei's advice on computer interactions in this thread is totally helpful and reading it could save others a lot of time.

I did end up using those two tutorials! I've gotten my object and social interactions into the game now I haven't perfected them, but I've got them functional enough to move on to dreamtrees as the penultimate feature. Hm, I'd post a screenshot but can't get the image uploading interface to like my files.
